Athanassios Kintsakis

Athanassios Kintsakis works at Capital One Financial at the Center for Machine Learning, where he is propeling the team's GPU computing endeavors. An HPC enthusiast, Athanassios was selected for the International HPC Summer School 2016 and the Programming and Tuning Massively Parallel Systems 2016 Summer School, where he claimed the best CUDA clinic award and a Tesla K40 GPU sponsored by NVIDIA. He has previously worked in EU academic research projects and computer vision company GumGum in Santa Monica, Calif. Athanassios is an ECE MSc graduate and Ph.D. candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
