Antonio de la Esperanza understands the business matters of his clients, including cross-border project financings, corporate restructurings, and complex real estate transactions. A native of Spain, Antonio began his legal career at Hogan Lovells in Madrid as an intern while still in law school. After working as an associate in the Finance and Real Estate practice groups for three years and obtaining an LL.M., Antonio was seconded to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Mexico City, where he acted as internal legal counsel for corporate and financial transactions in Latin America. He brings his knowledge of the area and an in-house, multilateral perspective to help his clients in major infrastructure transactions, particularly in Latin America. After earning an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused on international business and economic law, Antonio successfully passed the New York bar exam.
