Anjan Mukherjee

Anjan Mukherjee co-founded BayPine LP in 2019. Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group. He joined The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group in 2001. He serves as a Manager of Celanese International Corporation. Previously, he served as a Managing Director of The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group until 2010. Since joining Blackstone in 2001, Anjan Mukherjee has been involved in Blackstone's investments. He served at Thomas H. Lee Company, where he was involved with the analysis and execution of private equity investments in a wide range of industries. Prior to that, he worked in the media and telecommunications area of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC. He served as a Secretary of Celanese Corp. He has also worked at the Department of Education as well as the Brookings Institution. He serves as a Director of Stiefel Laboratories. He has been a Director of Celanese Corp. and Celanese Emulsions GmbH since April 2004. He serves as a Director of Emdeon. He is a Director of NantPharma, LLC and NantWorks LLC. He served as a Director of TeleTech Holdings Inc. from September 21, 2009 to December 24, 2014. He served as a Director at Polymer Group, Inc. from January 28, 2011 to December 23, 2014. He served as a Director of Companhia Providencia. He served as a Director of Nycomed Pharma SA. He served as a Director of Mega Bloks Inc., until February 2004. He was a director of LiveWire / H.O. Systems. Anjan Mukherjee holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. from Harvard University, where he graduated, magna cum laude as a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
