Andy Fishman

Andy is a Principal and joined Vector in 2008. Andy was previously a Director of RAE Systems (acquired by Honeywell), Teletrac (acquired by Danaher), and Aladdin Knowledge Systems (merged with SafeNet). Andy came to Vector with significant technology investing and technology operational experience. Andy worked at Silver Lake Partners where he focused on large-scale technology buyouts in both North America and Europe. Previously, he worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he focused on mergers and financings in the technology and telecommunications industries. On the operational side, Andy worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Artificial Intelligence Lab, and at Sun Microsystems as a software engineer. He also worked at Vlingo, a mobile start-up based in Boston, as head of Business Development. Andy received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds a B.A. in computer science from Dartmouth College where he graduated magna cum laude.
