Andrew Omori

Andrew Omori is runs the fund strategy group for the firm where he focuses on corporate strategy and fund management. Prior to this role he worked on the corporate development team where responsible for capital raising, M&A execution and public market planning at a16z. He also works on building the firm's relationships with capital and strategic partners across the consumer, enterprise, fintech, games, crypto and bio verticals. Prior to joining a16z, Andrew was an investment banker where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and also worked on private capital raising, public equities (IPOs) and restructurings. Andrew was most recently a vice president in the technology investment banking group at JMP Securities where he worked on the acquisitions of United Online and Forestar as well as public equity offerings for Snap, Alteryx and GoDaddy. Andrew also spent time at Duff & Phelps and Wells Fargo.
