Andrew Hansen

Andrew is the Partner, CFO, and COO at 137 Ventures. He previously worked at Founders Fund, as Controller, where he managed operations of the firm, from building a finance staff, implementing systems, and creating policies and procedures to scale the company’s operations from assets under management of $50 million to over $1.5 billion. Prior to Founders Fund, Andrew was the Senior Hedge Fund Accountant at HSBC, responsible for providing administration for several multiple-strategy hedge funds and hedge funds-of-funds, with assets under management over $3 billion. Andrew began his investment accounting career at State Street, where he held roles in portfolio accounting and performance analysis for their largest US pension client, CalPERS. Andrew holds a BS in Business Administration and Economics and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
