Ananth Raman

Ananth Raman is the founder of 4R Systems. He is an economist, focusing on supply chain management and the investors’ perspective on operations, currently the UPS Foundation Professor of Business Logistics at Harvard Business School. Ananth Raman is a professor in the Technology and Operations Management department, where he has taught MBA students and executive participants courses on many elements of Operational Excellence, including supply chain management, technology, operations management, and service operations. He is the Faculty Chair of Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program for business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as a mentor to a number of Ph.D. candidates. He has advised and overseen management education programs for executives at a number of firms, as well as assisting several retailers and suppliers in the design and development of supply chain management decision-support systems. He is a consultant to a number of retail CEOs.
