Amie Borgstrom

Amie Borgstrom is a Senior Advisor at Norwest, where she brings over 25 years of experience in commercialization and strategic growth to support the firm’s healthcare portfolio.

Amie is CEO and Founder of Borgstrom Consulting Group, a team of healthcare industry professionals specializing in market research and product launch. The firm develops and executes data-driven commercialization plans in partnership with growing healthcare companies. With a foundation in executive leadership across startups, large-cap corporations, and hospital systems, the Borgstrom Consulting Group is uniquely positioned to translate deep market insights into actionable, high-impact strategies.

Amie has led companies through every stage of the business lifecycle—from early market development to IPO process and acquisition. She served as Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development at Devoro Medical, where she led commercial strategy through its acquisition by Boston Scientific. As Consulting VP of Marketing and Professional Education at Arrinex, she supported the early launch and successful acquisition by Stryker. As Global VP of Marketing at Biomet, she led product pipeline strategy, L&A, and global commercialization efforts through the IPO process and acquisition by Zimmer. She also served as VP of Marketing and Professional Education at Baxano through the company’s launch and acquisition. Amie began her career in R&D leadership at Johnson & Johnson.

Throughout her career, Amie has collaborated with leading physicians and innovators worldwide to develop and commercialize 38 novel technologies. She is also an inventor with 42 issued or pending patents. Amie received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, MS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Amie lives with her family in Northern California, where they spend their free time outdoors—skiing, biking, hiking—and pursuing adventure travel around the globe.
