Alexander Mayall

Alexander is an Investment Principal at Anthemis, focused on venture stage investments across Europe and North America.  Before joining Anthemis, Alexander worked for two years at Exceedra Software in database development, DevOps and infrastructure. Alex now applies this technical knowledge on the investment team, analysing companies with a tech and product lens.

Also prior to Anthemis, Alexander was a micro-celebrity in the futurism space, having been the expert co-host of the Futurology Podcast (the official podcast of the /r/Futurology community on Reddit), as well as a YouTube content creator on the topics of emerging technology, mathematics and science.

Alex has a BA in Physics from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, and an MSc in Cybernetics from the University of Reading.
