Alex Zhang

Alex Zhang is a an investor and advisor to a number of IOT companies, and is a partner at Ansir Innovation, an investment and accelerator entity spanning the East Asia and California. He is also the Founder and CEO of TechVali Inc., a startup in IOT system design and implementation. In his previous role as the CTO for 3Nod (Shenzhen China), he started the Smart Home business unit for the traditional ODM enterprise. He also managed its connected incubator activities in the IOT areas of VR, UAV, Robotics, Voice Command/Recognition, UGC, IOT platform, Machine Learning, and Smart Home, and helped making a few acquisitions for the company. He is a veteran in the wireless communication industry, held multiple roles in R&D management for cell phone companies such as Qualcomm, Nokia, and Via Telecom. He also worked for 5 years as a certification manager for an IOT/M2M company Novatel Wireless/Enfora. He started a couple of startups of his own in Azure Education and Techvali Inc., and also helped multiple startups in Shenzhen and US, very resourceful with his HW manufacturing connections.
