Adnan has more than 10 years’ international experience providing broadcast streaming and newsroom delivery solutions. Having begun his career in engineering Adnan moved into a newsroom environment and was a vital component to the mobile / digital distribution department at the BBC, where he was instrumental in breaking news from the last general election, 2012 Olympics and assuring the broadcast readiness for large breaking news stories that cannot be predicted In 2013 Adnan joined Microsoft as a Technology Innovation Lead for Skype. At Skype, Adnan has been instrumental in bringing Skype Tx to market while setting up TX studios and organically integrating Skype in to parner workflows. He also supports content partners – including ESPN, VICE News and TED – to produce innovative non-linear show formats on a global scale.
