Adam Schiffer is the Chief Operating Officer of Songkick, the world's leading artist-ticketing and concert discovery platform. With more than a decade of experience in leading new business growth and operations, Schiffer is integral in leading Songkick to its current status as the most visited live music discovery and ticketing site, utilizing technology to ensure artists are able to sell more tickets to fans through enhanced discovery while reducing the number of tickets sold to scalpers.
Schiffer joined CrowdSurge in early 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, prior to its merger with Songkick. At CrowdSurge, he directed the company’s significant technological, operational and geographic expansion across three continents, while also playing a pivotal role in business strategy and fundraising. In June 2015, Schiffer led the CrowdSurge merger with Songkick, a renowned concert discovery app, combining both company capabilities and developing a product that today has received international attention for its work as a transparent, pioneering technology partner to artists.
Previously, Schiffer ran an independent holiday lighting company that he co-founded in California at age 15, which he eventually franchised and sold. He also spent several years working on commercial real estate finance and development in Southern California and New York.
Schiffer received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University and is based in Songkick’s Brooklyn, New York office.
