About The Role

We're looking for an AI Frontend Developer to join our Artificial Intelligence team and build the interfaces through which Yuno's merchants and internal teams interact with AI. From copilots and agent workflows to internal back-office tools, you will turn model outputs into fast, intuitive and reliable user experiences.

You will work closely with AI engineers, backend and data teams, owning the frontend end to end: design system and reusable components, integration of LLM APIs with streaming responses, and the quality, performance and accessibility of everything we ship. We build with AI every day, and we expect you to use AI tools as a default part of how you code, test and iterate.

If you enjoy shipping polished products at a fast pace, care about the details that make an interface feel great, and want to build at the intersection of payments and AI, this role is for you.

Your contribution will be

• Build and evolve user-facing AI products: copilot and agent style interfaces, conversational flows, streaming responses and human in the loop review screens.

• Design and maintain our design system and web components, used across Yuno's applications and by third parties.

• Build and evolve internal back-office tools used across teams to drive operational efficiency.

• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar) and backend services into the frontend, handling streaming, latency and error states gracefully.

• Write reusable, testable and efficient code, with unit and end to end tests and CI/CD as part of the workflow.

• Collaborate with AI, data, backend and product teams to translate complex AI capabilities (automation, recommendations, decision support) into simple and actionable UI components.

• Champion an AI-first engineering culture, using AI-assisted development, code generation and automated testing as a default in your daily work.

• Care for performance, accessibility and security in everything you ship.

Skills You Need

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js and modern tooling (Git, NPM or Yarn, Next.js, Storybook or similar).

• Experience integrating REST and streaming APIs, including LLM APIs, into frontend applications.

• Demonstrated experience with unit testing, end to end testing and CI/CD.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot, and an understanding of prompt engineering and how to evaluate model outputs in the UI.

• Autonomy in task execution and comfort working in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building interfaces for AI agents or copilot style features in production.

• Experience with Nest.js, Emotion, AWS services (S3, Amplify) and Docker.

• Experience in the payments industry or integrating Payment Service Providers.

• Knowledge of backend languages and willingness to work across the stack when needed.
