Job Description
About WellTheory
WellTheory is a digital health company helping people with autoimmune conditions take control of their health through personalized care, nutrition guidance, and ongoing coaching. We're a team of 50+ passionate people who believe better care starts with better relationships. We're also building one of the most AI-forward organizations in healthcare — not by replacing our team with AI, but by expanding what every person here is capable of.
About the Role
WellTheory is looking for a passionate, results-driven Senior Client Success Manager to build and nurture long-term partnerships with our enterprise clients as we scale. You’ll own day-to-day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service while driving engagement, retention, and measurable outcomes.
You’ll serve as the strategic advisor to client stakeholders (HR, benefits, wellness, and medical directors), translating their goals into successful partnership outcomes. This is a cross-functional role that collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Engineering, and Care — and reports to the Co-founder, Operations.
What You'll Do
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as their strategic advisor
Drive utilization, engagement, and adoption of WellTheory's programs
Deliver data-driven business reviews with insights and recommendations
Secure renewals and identify expansion opportunities
Anticipate and resolve client issues with urgency and care
Contribute to playbooks and best practices as the Client Success function scales
Spending time in person is a key part of building relationships, so this position will include travel as necessary and the ideal candidate should be willing to travel anywhere between 20-30% based on location.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
Have 7+ years of enterprise client success or account management experience, ideally in digital health, benefits, or adjacent B2B2C environments, with a track record of driving retention, renewals, and expansion within complex client ecosystems
Are a relationship-driven communicator — you build deep trust with clients at every level, from day-to-day champions to C-suite executives, and know how to read the room, adapt your style, and navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
Think like a strategic storyteller — you turn data into insight and insight into action, using engagement, outcomes, and ROI data to shape compelling narratives that influence client decisions and demonstrate value
Are operationally excellent — you manage complex projects end-to-end, juggle multiple accounts with precision, and bring structure to ambiguity
Bring a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset — you're comfortable starting as a team of one, rolling up your sleeves to execute while helping define the playbook for scale
Are adaptable and resourceful — you bring creativity to problem-solving, stay calm under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic, fully remote environment
Have deep empathy for the autoimmune experience — you don't need to have an autoimmune condition yourself, but you can genuinely connect with and convey the lived experience of autoimmune patients to potential customers
Approach work with a beginner's mindset — you love learning, solve problems from the ground up, ask questions freely, and stay open-minded about new approaches
Bonus Points
You've been called a "force of nature" and have done something most people wouldn't — run a marathon, started a company, earned a degree while working full-time, or overcome significant adversity
You have direct experience in digital health or the autoimmune/chronic condition space
You've helped build a Client Success function from the ground up at an early-stage startup
What We Offer
A team that genuinely cares about each other and the members we serve
A fully remote company that gathers every year for an annual retreat
A base salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 with meaningful equity and benefits. Placement within our range depends on directly relevant skills and experiences you bring to the role.
At WellTheory, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic team — so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't check every box, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might be exactly who we're looking for.
