The Manager – Finance & Operations will lead the financial planning, commercial operations, business performance management, and operational excellence of the Channel Sales organization. This role acts as a strategic partner to Channel Sales leadership, driving financial insight, operational governance, forecasting, channel incentive governance, and scalable business processes that enable profitable growth.

The successful candidate will combine strong financial acumen with operational leadership, ensuring disciplined execution of channel incentive programs while providing data-driven insights that support sustainable business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Leadership

  • Own financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Channel Sales organization.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor revenue, bookings, margins, operating expenses and profitability.
  • Deliver monthly business reviews highlighting performance against targets.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support pricing strategy, commercial investment decisions and partner profitability analysis.
  • Support business cases for new channel programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Own the financial governance of channel incentive, rebate and partner investment programs.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts for rebates, MDF, SPIFFs and other partner incentives.
  • Evaluate ROI of incentive programs and optimise investment effectiveness.
  • Model the financial impact of incentive structures that balance growth with profitability.
  • Establish financial controls for incentive spend, accruals and payouts.
  • Monitor incentive liabilities and ensure accounting and audit compliance.
  • Produce executive reporting on incentive effectiveness, partner profitability and investment returns.

Sales & Business Operations

  • Lead the internal operational cadence of the Channel Sales organization (e.g., pipeline reviews, Steering Committee meetings).
  • Provide input into and/or develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Improve forecast accuracy through disciplined pipeline management.
  • Own pipeline inspection, deal reviews and stage progression standards for channel opportunities.
  • Ensure deal registrations are captured and tracked accurately in Salesforce.
  • Act as first-line operational support for the channel team on process and systems issues.
  • Standardize sales processes, governance and operating rhythms.
  • Ensure CRM data quality and reporting integrity.
  • Drive territory planning, informing quota management and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Finance.
  • Support the operational strategy and execution of global channel incentive programs .
  • Design scalable internal processes for incentive claims and payments.
  • Implement financial governance frameworks for consistent global execution.
  • Partner with Salesforce Systems Operations to automate incentive management.
  • Ensure reporting visibility into program participation and effectiveness.

Business Performance & Analytics

  • Produce executive-level reporting and actionable business insights.
  • Analyze trends across revenue, partner performance, pipeline conversion and productivity.
  • Develop predictive models supporting strategic decision making.
  • Measure ROI on channel investments and marketing programs.
  • Create KPI frameworks that drive accountability.

Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing Finance & Operations team.
  • Coach and develop team members.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Experience


  • 8+ years in Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Commercial Finance.
  • Experience supporting high-growth technology or SaaS sales organizations.
  • Strong background with Channel Sales or Partner Sales models.
  • Experience leading planning, forecasting and business performance management.
  • Experience building executive dashboards and reporting.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and managing channel incentive programs.
  • Experience managing rebates, MDF, SPIFFs and partner investment programs.
  • Experience building financial models for incentive design and ROI analysis.
  • Experience establishing governance and operational controls for global incentive programs.
  • Experience managing incentive budgeting, accruals and reconciliations.
  • Strong understanding of partner business models and incentive platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
  • MBA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite or similar.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
  • Experience with incentive management platforms (e.g. Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ, Salesforce PRM, Impartner, PartnerStack) preferred.

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $98,000.00 - $130,000.00 - $143,000.00 annually.

 


For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
