Job Description
As a Senior Data Product Manager at Talkiatry, you will own the evolution of our data stack, end user data enablement strategy and our third party integrations (including referrals, billing and more). This role reaches into nearly every part of Talkiatry's practice, and asks you to balance day-to-day execution against a strategic view of how our data capabilities should evolve. You will partner closely with Referrals, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and other Product teams to identify high-impact opportunities, define long-term direction, and deliver scalable solutions across Talkiatry's data ecosystem. This includes putting more capability directly in the hands of the people who need it: AI functionality, self-serve analytics, configurable attribution, and marketer-controlled segmentation that don't require an engineering ticket. You will expand our metrics and proprietary data layers so that the definitions the business runs on are trustworthy and owned. And you will grow the data foundation underneath our Referrals business and the features we offer partner organizations. This is a role for someone comfortable at two altitudes: system design, data flows, definitions, and integration debugging on one hand; roadmap, tradeoffs, and executive alignment on the other.
About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry is transforming mental health care by making high-quality psychiatry more accessible, human, and sustainable for both patients and clinicians. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we were built to solve one of healthcare’s most urgent challenges: millions of people struggle to access mental health care, while clinicians face growing administrative burden and burnout. Through our technology-powered, in-network platform, we’re changing that, creating a better experience for patients and empowering clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care.
Today, Talkiatry is the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., with 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and more than two million patient visits delivered nationwide. At our scale, every innovation has real impact. Every workflow we improve, every technology solution we build, and every patient experience we redesign helps thousands of clinicians provide better care to hundreds of thousands of patients. We’re not just growing quickly — we’re redefining how behavioral healthcare is delivered in America.
Joining Talkiatry means joining a mission-driven team that is solving complex problems at scale, driving meaningful change in healthcare, and building the future of mental health care with compassion, innovation, and purpose.
You will:
Lead product strategy and execution for our data platform, third party integrations, and end user data enablement
Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap for the data stack, our metrics layers, proprietary data models and data user AI capabilities
Own third party integrations across referrals, billing, marketing, and clinical systems
Own data quality and reliability as product requirements, with validation, monitoring, and alerting that catch problems early
Identify where AI and automation add real value to end data users
Put analytics, attribution, and segmentation directly in the hands of Marketing, Operations, and Finance without engineering dependencies
Balance short-term operational priorities with long-term platform investments and scalability goals
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data, Clinical, and Operations partners to deliver complex initiatives successfully
Anticipate dependencies across interconnected systems, drive alignment, and break ambiguous problems into prioritized opportunities
Define success metrics, establish measurable goals, and use data to evaluate product impact and inform strategic decisions
Navigate ambiguity by breaking down complex operational and systems challenges into actionable product opportunities
You have:
4+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years on data platform, data products, or data infrastructure
Working fluency with the modern data stack: ELT, cloud warehousing, transformation, orchestration, BI and semantic layers, and reverse ETL
Comfort reading and writing SQL, and the ability to reason independently about grain, joins, duplication, and completeness
Experience leading complex product initiatives across multiple teams and systems
Experience owning metric definitions and governance, including resolving competing definitions across teams
Track record of building self-serve data capability for non-technical teams and measurably reducing ad hoc request volume
Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy, prioritize effectively, and execute against long-term roadmaps
Strong interest in AI-driven products, with the ability to identify practical applications of AI
Familiarity with AI concepts and technologies, including automation, large language models (LLMs), and decision-support systems
Experience working across interconnected systems and understanding technical dependencies, integrations, and operational trade-offs
Strong product judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity in complex problem spaces
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to clearly articulate priorities, trade-offs, and strategic rationale

About Talkiatry
Talkiatry is a national mental health practice that provides in-network psychiatry and therapy. We were co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality mental healthcare. 60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome. With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine. We’re proud to be a Great Place to Work®-certified company. Want to transform psychiatry with us?
