System Engineer (Cloud & AI)

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer (Cloud & AI) to design, deploy and operate our cloud and on-prem infrastructure, keep production stable and automated. You'll work across multiple cloud providers, automate everything as code, and bring modern AI tooling into day-to-day operations. As a System Engineer at Super, you'll design, deploy, operate and continuously harden our cloud and on-prem infrastructure across multiple environments — keeping production stable, automated and scalable — while bringing modern AI tooling into the operations workflow (AI-assisted automation, supporting AI/ML workloads, and AI-augmented runbooks/self-service).

What you will be doing

• Own reliability of our multi-environment platform across AWS, GCP, and on-prem virtualization.
• Build and operate infrastructure as code with Terraform across core domains: compute, storage, databases, IAM, DNS, certificates, and managed services (e.g. AWS: EC2/RDS/S3/CloudFront/ALB/Route 53/KMS/EKS/ECS; GCP: Compute Engine/Cloud SQL/Cloud Storage/Load Balancing/Cloud DNS/Cloud KMS/GKE).
• Improve cost, scalability, and performance; understand billing models and right-sizing levers across clouds.
• Operate and harden production systems (Linux + Windows): patching, lifecycle maintenance, fleet tooling/agents, and incident response (MTTR-focused).
• Run critical internet-facing foundations: email infrastructure and security posture (SPF/DKIM/DMARC/ARC), plus DNS and TLS/ACME certificate automation.
• Automate operations with scripts/playbooks (Python/Bash/Go) in a PR-based workflow; build self-service and reduce recurring toil (runbooks, DNS/cert changes, etc.).
• Improve observability and reliability (monitoring/alerting; Prometheus/Grafana/SNMP/exporters/agents) and collaborate cross-functionally on upgrades and scaling.
• Support security and internal tooling: remediate findings (SAST, headers, dependency issues), harden services, and help maintain internal infra web apps (Node/Go/PHP).

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated experience operating production infrastructure across cloud and virtualized/on-prem environments.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills, with proven ability to run, troubleshoot, and harden production services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (preferred: Terraform), with an automation-first approach.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, Node, Go, PHP) to automate, integrate, and operationalize systems.
• Multi-cloud experience, ideally across AWS and GCP (compute, storage, databases, identity, DNS, and managed services).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker + Kubernetes; EKS/GKE/ECS).
• A strong security mindset (least privilege, robust secret hygiene, and a focus on root-cause remediation).
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
