
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Lithium-Ion Battery Cell
Engineer to play a key role in driving innovation and decision-making in our fast-paced
start-up environment. This position requires broad expertise in battery cell design, the
ability to navigate ambiguity, and a commitment to developing cutting-edge energy
storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of lithium-ion battery cells,
focusing on performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.Make critical decisions in complex and ambiguous situations to guide product
development and strategy.Oversee cell fabrication, testing, and performance validation, ensuring
scalability and manufacturability.Conduct in-depth analysis of materials, chemistries, and failure mechanisms to
improve cell performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing
teams to meet project milestones.Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth
and innovation.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain
competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related
field, with 10+ years of experience in lithium-ion battery development.Extensive knowledge of cell design, electrochemical principles, and materials
characterization techniques.Proven ability to lead projects and make decisions in evolving environments.
Hands-on experience with battery fabrication, testing, and manufacturing
processes.Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
