Title: Licensing Specialist

Reporting to: Director of Medical Staff Services

Location: 100% Remote

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensing Speciliast to join our Medical Staff Services team. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. As the Licensing Specialist for Sevaro Health, you will play a crucial role in the Medical Staff Services Department at Sevaro. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks to ensure efficient operations.


The following key duties are integral to the position:


Internal Records Management & Communications

  • Ensure electronic provider records are being maintained and updated timely, accurately, and regularly to reflect any changes in provider status or credentials.

  • Support the team in obtaining additional documentation and verifications as needed, ensuring all records comply with internal and external standards.

  • Ensure MSS Department processes are being followed regarding the storing, submission, and information sharing of all obtained, completed, confirmed, and created documentation.

  • Ensure current statuses and information is being documented/displayed in the appropriate areas timely

Licensing Specialist Duties

  • Assist in creating abbreviated CVs for licensing and privileging needs as needed.

  • Complete and/or request FCVS profiles for assigned providers while they are in the primary source verification process and for licensure as needed.

  • Identify and ensure timely and efficient applications for IMLC LOQ's as available.

  • Register providers for online or live courses, certifications, and recertifications, as required by the specific state(s), and facilitate / track their progress to ensure timely completion.

  • Support supervising physician requests and protocol agreements, ensuring all documentation is thorough and compliant.

  • Complete / facilitate completion, pending provider, from start to finish initial applications for and renewal of DEAs (Drug Enforcement Administration) and CSRs (Controlled Substance Registrations) upon direction.

  • Complete / facilitate completion, pending provider, from start to finish applications for obtaining and renewing State Licensure upon direction, providing guidance on process and requirements as appropriate.

  • Complete registration and coordinate scheduling of providers fingerprinting as necessary, for state licenses.

  • Perform regular follow-up, as necessary, via telephone, email, and other available and necessary means of communication with both providers, state licensing boards, and other agencies.

  • Participate in education sessions specific to corporate needs or job duties, whether locally or remotely, as needed.

  • Have the ability to print necessary documentation and drop off at shipping location(s) as needed.

Other Duties

  • Perform other job-related duties as required, adapting to new challenges and responsibilities as they arise.

  • Assist in audits and other administrative tasks assigned by management

  • •Participate in education sessions specific to corporate needs or job duties, whether locally or remotely, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.

  • At least 2-3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment; highly engaged and proactive, results-driven attitude.
