Job Description
About Rebill
Rebill is the financial infrastructure platform for the Americas.
The companies shaping software, AI, travel, and digital services use Rebill to operate across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and the United States.
Rebill brings local payments, installments, recurring billing, stablecoin rails, treasury, global payouts, and financial operations into one platform built for how money actually works across the Americas.
Every market is different. Rebill makes the infrastructure consistent. Engineering, finance, and operations teams can manage local currency acceptance, market-specific payment behavior, funds, and financial workflows from the same platform.
Companies can launch in Latin America in as little as a day and expand across markets without rebuilding their financial stack country by country.
Built locally. Designed to scale globally.
Rebill is backed by leading global investors such as Tiger Global, Y Combinator (W22), Soma Capital and SV Angel, and angels including Guillermo Rauch (Vercel) and Arash Ferdowsi (Dropbox).
About the role
You own new revenue from cross-border accounts in the United States.
Rebill sells to companies that charge consumers in Latin America without holding a legal entity there: software, AI, travel assistance, education, and subscription businesses. The buyer sits in the US. The revenue sits in LATAM. You are the person in the room with that buyer.
For the first two quarters you close accounts yourself. After that you build the team that closes them at scale. You inherit a live pipeline and a small commercial team, and you report to the co-founders.
The seat is based in Miami alongside one of the founders. New York or the Bay Area work if the rest of the profile is right.
Why this role exists
Rebill has grown on founder-led sales. That has taken the company further than it should have, and it has reached its limit.
The cross-border product carries materially better unit economics than local processing, and it is the part of the business with the most room in the US market. Nobody at Rebill wakes up every day responsible for opening and closing US-based accounts. That is the gap this seat closes.
What you will own
- New cross-border revenue. Net new revenue from companies collecting in Latin America without a local entity. You carry a number from month one and you are measured on net revenue, not processed volume.
- Closing, personally. The first two quarters you are in the deals, not above them. Discovery, pricing, objection handling, and signature.
- The sales team. Hiring, ramping, and managing account executives as volume justifies it. You design the comp plan and the quota structure with the founders.
- The commercial motion. Qualification criteria, pricing conversations, and the handoff to implementation. Today that lives in the founders' heads. It should live in a process.
- Acquirer and partner leverage. Rebill holds direct relationships with acquirers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. You turn those relationships and our partner network into a channel.
What we are looking for
- 10+ years in payments, with a track record selling cross-border collection or local acquiring into Latin America or the Americas.
- You have closed merchants, not banks or processors. Our buyer is a CFO, a COO, or a founder at a company that sells to LATAM consumers.
- You have built a sales team from a small base and scaled it. We are looking for someone who took a company from a few million in ARR to a multiple of that, not someone who inherited a running machine.
- Fluent English. Professional Spanish, Portuguese, or both. You negotiate in English and you can hold a technical conversation with a merchant in Spanish.
- Fluency in the economics: take rate, FX spread, installments, approval rates, chargebacks. You can defend a price without a solutions engineer in the room.
- Based in Miami, New York, or the Bay Area, able to travel across LATAM and to industry events.
- AI tools as part of how you work. Everyone at Rebill uses them daily to move faster.
Nice to have
- Time at a regional PSP or inside the LATAM business of a global acquirer.
- Experience selling into travel assistance, education, or subscription businesses.
- Portuguese at a working level for Brazil.
- Prior startup or YC-company experience at a similar stage.
What we offer
- A senior package matching the seat: competitive base, variable tied to the revenue you generate, and meaningful equity.
- Direct access to the founders and to the product team, with no layers in between.
- Hybrid base in Miami, New York, or the Bay Area.
How we hire
An intro conversation, a working session on a real account from our pipeline, and a conversation with the founders. We will tell you what is still open. We expect the same candour back.
