Senior Manager, Growth Marketing (New Ventures)
Job Description
About us
Pomelo Care is the leading virtual medical practice for women and children, providing care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We combine proactive, 24/7 clinical care with technology that helps us reach patients earlier, identify risks sooner, and deliver personalized care throughout their journey. Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.
About The Role:
Your north star: Drive new patient growth by building, testing, and scaling offline and partner channels from the ground up, including Podcast, Radio, Linear & Connected TV (CTV), Direct Mail, and Affiliate Partnerships.
What you'll do:
- Closely partner with the Head of Growth to set full-funnel DTC growth strategy spanning new patient acquisition and lifecycle marketing
- Own acquisition channels and drive the day-to-day execution of the DTC growth strategy across offline and partner channels including podcast, radio, TV, direct mail, and affiliates
- Build a high-velocity testing and optimization engine from the ground up - create ads, run iterative tests, and synthesize data and qualitative insights to drive fast and efficient learning
- Manage and optimize the acquisition marketing budget, balancing new patient acquisition targets with CAC efficiency
- Lead and manage key agency relationships and external partners, holding them accountable for delivering strong results and performance improvements
- Partner with Product to identify friction points and optimize end to end funnel CVR
- Collaborate with Clinical and Operations teams to ensure marketing builds patient trust and play a key role in meeting high patient satisfaction goals
Who you are:
- 3-5 years of experience in DTC growth marketing with deep hands-on experience acquisition marketing; experience in retention marketing is a huge plus
- Experience in a 0-1 growth environment — testing, iterating, and scaling channels from scratch
- Demonstrable experience owning and operating offline channels and partnerships (podcast, radio, TV, direct mail, and/or affiliates)
- A hands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly from idea to test, and balances brand building with short-term performance needs.
- Strong balance of ‘right brain’ and ‘left brain’ — you enjoy balancing creative ideation with data-driven decision making
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, financial modeling, and data analysis to derive insights and drive decision making
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive alignment across cross-functional and external partners
Bonus Points:
- Experience in women’s health or another high-trust/regulated industry
- Comfort stepping into content creation when needed
