About the Role:
NewtonX’s Strategic Insights (SI) team to deliver high-impact research projects to help our clients uncover insights to answer their toughest and most critical business questions. We are looking for a Senior Associate / Associate Manager who is motivated and excited by conducting in-depth research utilizing innovative methodologies and AI tools.
The SI Senior Associate / Associate Manager will work with world-class companies and clients across industries to understand their needs and deliver high-impact research projects to help them uncover insights to answer their toughest business questions.
Location: NYC (hybrid) or remote
In this role you will:
Develop a deep understanding of client strategic objectives and build and execute detailed research plans to achieve them
Create interview guides and surveys that address client needs to inform better business decisions
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify critical themes and takeaways
Develop client-facing reports and deliverables with a clear storyline and narrative for executive audiences
Own written and verbal communications with clients on respective studies
Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with clients and experts covering a wide range of expertise, geographies, etc.
Who you are:
1-4 years of professional work experience
You are a market research or research professional at a leading market research company or management consultant from a top tier consultancy (i.e., background in market research and familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods)
Strong skills in interview guide and survey design to uncover critical insights
Experience with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python) and visualization tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
You enjoy working independently and efficiently with minimal direction and under pressure
You enjoy learning, team collaboration, communication, listening and advocating
Excellent client-facing and internal team communication skills (verbal and written)
Have a bachelor's degree or greater in a relevant field of study
