Job Description

About Nabla

We are a team of entrepreneurs, clinicians and engineers committed to bringing back joy to the practice of medicine.

Together with a community of clinician innovators, we’ve harnessed the best of machine learning science to develop Nabla: the leading AI assistant that’s restoring the human connection at the heart of healthcare. By streamlining clinical documentation, Nabla is helping clinicians focus on what matters most - patient care. Today, over 100,000+ clinicians across 130+ healthcare organizations trust Nabla to support how they deliver care every day.

We’re at the start of an ambitious journey: Ambient listening, dictation, coding, and command capabilities are all converging into a proactive assistant that intuitively streamlines clinical and financial workflows.

Backed by a recent $70M Series C, we’re hiring to build the next generation of clinical AI and improve the lives of clinicians and patients everywhere.

This is a great time to join us!

Product development at Nabla is led jointly by Engineering and Product and organized into cross-functional squads. As Senior Product Manager for EHR Integrations, you will own how Nabla lives inside the systems clinicians actually work in.

The EHR is where a clinician’s day already lives, and a large part of the Nabla experience happens inside it. Providers launch Nabla from the chart, and everything Nabla produces (notes, orders, visit diagnoses, codes) has to land in the right place, in the right format, at the right moment. When that fits naturally into how a clinician already works, Nabla becomes something they reach for dozens of times a day. When it doesn’t, even the best AI goes unused. This role owns that part of the workflow, and with it a decisive share of the experience our providers have with Nabla.

It is a rare mix of UX craft and technical depth. You will design workflows that feel effortless to a clinician mid-encounter, while reasoning about SMART on FHIR launches, embedded contexts, API surfaces and rate limits, data mapping, versioning, and the very different constraints each EHR imposes. You need to understand the technicality of each integration well enough to know what is genuinely possible, what is expensive, and what is a dead end.

It is also a deeply human role. You will go onsite with our clients, in clinics, EDs, and on inpatient floors, to see how providers really navigate their EHR and where Nabla fits into their day. Deep user understanding, empathy, and genuine curiosity about clinical workflows are the foundation of everything else.

You will work in a cross-functional squad of backend, and full-stack engineers, and partner constantly beyond it: with the other product squads whose features reach clinicians through your integrations, with Customer Success to deepen our understanding of clients and users, with the Technical Implementation team, and directly with Enterprise clients as you guide them through demanding change management.

If you thrive where regulatory, technical, and UX complexity meet, and you would rather solve the unglamorous problem that unlocks everything downstream, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Nabla’s EHR integrations across existing and new platforms as we expand.

  • Design the end-to-end clinical workflow from launching Nabla inside the EHR to exporting notes, orders, and visit diagnoses back into the chart, so it feels seamless to a clinician working under time pressure.

  • Go onsite with clients to observe how providers navigate their EHR and use Nabla in real encounters, and turn what you see into product decisions and strategic insight.

  • Build deep technical fluency in each EHR’s capabilities and constraints: APIs, FHIR resources, launch contexts, data models, release and validation cycles, so you can make sound trade-offs alongside your engineers.

  • Partner with Design to turn hard integration constraints into simple, trustworthy interfaces that clinicians adopt without training.

  • Collaborate across squads whose capabilities reach clinicians through your integrations, anticipating dependencies and sequencing work accordingly.

  • Bring Enterprise clients live, working with Customer Success and Technical Implementation to guide health systems through demanding change management, rollout, and adoption.

  • Define and track the metrics that matter: adoption across encounters, successful export rates, time spent in the chart, integration reliability, and support burden. Let them drive prioritization.

  • Prioritize ruthlessly across a roadmap that spans new EHR platforms, deepening existing integrations, and the reliability, testability, and documentation work that keeps all of them running.

  • Create alignment across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Go-to-Market, and leadership on priorities, progress, risks, and product decisions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of product management experience, including time spent in healthtech or another regulated, safety-critical industry.

  • A track record shipping products built on complex integrations (APIs, developer platforms, or third-party systems), including ownership of versioning, documentation, and partner-facing workflows.

  • Strong systems thinking: you can hold a complex architecture in your head, anticipate dependencies, and make sound technical trade-offs with engineers.

  • Excellent UX judgment, with a demonstrated ability to turn technical constraints into simple, intuitive workflows for non-technical users.

  • Deep user empathy and genuine interest in clinician workflows, and the willingness to travel and spend real time onsite with clients.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills: you are equally comfortable debating a data model with an engineer and walking a health system executive through a rollout plan, and you create alignment across squads and functions.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information, competing priorities, and high ownership.

  • Location: based in our Brooklyn, NY office. This is an in-office-first role (not fully remote), with regular travel to client sites across the US. Full professional fluency in English is required.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Epic or the Epic ecosystem (Vendor Services, Hyperspace, Haiku/Canto), or with Oracle Health (Cerner), athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or MEDITECH.

  • Experience with clinical documentation, orders, coding, or revenue cycle workflows.

  • Prior software engineering experience, or the ability to write scripts and reason about system logs, API schemas, and data models.

  • Experience guiding Enterprise health systems through change management, go-lives, and multi-site rollouts.

  • Experience building products powered by ML/AI.

  • Working proficiency in French is a plus, but not a requirement. Much of our Engineering and Product organization is based in Paris, all work communication happens in English.
