Job Description
About the role
Remote | Full-Time
What we're building
Jiga is on a mission to build the world's trusted custom manufacturing infrastructure.
The world's most important innovation runs on manufactured parts. Aerospace, defense, AI, robotics, medical devices. But global supply chains are broken. Outsourcing custom parts is one of the most critical bottlenecks, and it's getting worse in a world reshaped by geopolitical change, the push for sovereignty and local manufacturing.
We're VC-backed and cashflow-positive. Aerospace, defense, and robotics teams at the world's best hardware startups trust us, alongside companies like NASA and Siemens.
People share us organically. They bring us along when they change companies. They send us notes with heart emojis 💙. That kind of word of mouth is rare in manufacturing, and it's the raw material this role gets to amplify.
The role
We're looking for an Industry Marketing Lead to own how engineers and supply chain leaders come to trust Jiga.
You'll own the credibility and awareness layers of our marketing: supply chain and manufacturing content, communications, conferences and events where mechanical engineers and procurement managers show up.
You'll plan, build, and ship the work, and manage your own budget.
How we actually work
We're a remote team made up of the best of the best. Our team members are distributed around the globe. Most of our work is made async, which is the secret sauce of our success.
High trust, low bullshit: We don't count hours or peek over your shoulder on Slack. We trust you to get your work done and tell us when something's wrong. You'll have real ownership over what you build, no process theater, no busy-work meetings.
Question everything: See something that doesn't make sense? Say it. Have a better way to do something? Just do it. We actually mean it when we say we want people to challenge the status quo and improve things. Our internal motto is "Don't drink the kool-aid".
No busy work, no fluff: If you are addicted to heavy process building and endless busy-work meetings, that's probably not a good fit.
Actually friendly, not corporate friendly: We play games online every week. Once a year we fly everyone somewhere beautiful for our offsite (Greece, here we come). We genuinely like hanging out together, which turns out to be way better than forced "team building exercises".
What you'll do
- Execute content marketing initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing
- Distribute that content where engineers and procurement actually pay attention
- Land press placements and own journalist relationships
- Plan and execute events: exclusive dinners, conference presence, engineer gatherings
- Build a repeatable reference engine: named logos, metrics-backed case studies, and customers ready to take a sales call or speak at an event
- Produce collateral that converts: whitepapers and credibility content
You're a fit if you
- Spent years inside a manufacturing, hardware, aerospace, or defense company and experienced the problem firsthand, or as a marketer embedded in industry
- Have a real point of view on how engineers and supply chain leaders procure parts
- Have a proven track record personally shipping content, landing press, and running events
- Reach for proof and numbers over adjectives, and you're allergic to generic brand fluff
- Can self-direct and manage your own time and budget with minimal supervision
- Are US-based
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable working in remote environments (Slack, Notion, Loom, etc.)
How we think about marketing
You'll be treated as a core function, with the independence and creative freedom that comes with it. Your voice will matter in decisions, and no, you won't be judged on last-touch attribution.
- We get brave and creative in an industry where most players are boring and traditional
- We measure with honest KPIs, while accepting that reputation takes long-term effort and that B2B attribution is hard
- We use AI anywhere it creates real leverage
- We take the rare love people have for our product and turn it into reputation and community
