
Job Description
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Hevo, you will drive the technical side of the sales cycle for US mid-market and enterprise customers. You’ll partner with Account Executives to lead technical discoveries, understand customer architectures, uncover integration challenges, and influence technical decision-making.
We’re looking for someone who is highly skilled in technical discovery conversations, databases, APIs, and modern SaaS architectures. Experience with ETL, ELT, or data warehouses is preferred, but strong database expertise with exceptional solutioning ability is equally valuable.
At Hevo, Sales Engineers directly influence deal outcomes and are rewarded through strong variable compensation tied to technical deal impact and successful evaluations.

Requirements
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- REST APIs and integrations
- Data architectures and system design
- Cloud and SaaS ecosystems
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouses, or analytics platforms (Ideal)
- Exposure to Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks (Ideal)
- Strong database expertise with excellent technical problem-solving is also a strong fit (Must Have)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working US hours from Bengaluru/Pune office
