Backend Engineer (SDE 2)

GoSats is India's simplest onramp to assets. We help lakhs of Indians convert their everyday spending into Bitcoin and Gold - building long-term wealth through a habit they already have: spending money. Backed by Konvoy , Y Combinator, Accel and others, we recently closed our $5M Series A and are scaling rapidly toward becoming the default wealth-building tool for mainstream India.

About the Role: You will build the backend systems that power GoSats - high-throughput payment processing, wallet management, KYC orchestration, settlement engines, and bank integrations. You will work in a fast-shipping environment where 70%+ of code is AI-generated and humans review for architecture, edge cases, and security. You will own systems end-to-end, not work in narrow swim lanes.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience (SDE 2 level)
• Strong proficiency in Typescript
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), microservices, and REST/gRPC
• Comfort with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) in daily workflow
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, system design, concurrency
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker
