About the role

Fort is looking for a Social Content Intern to help capture the world around Fort: beautiful training spaces, wellness rituals, product moments, community events, founder perspective, and real people building stronger, more capable lives.

This role is not about making loud ads or generic startup content. It is about creating short-form videos that feel intimate, aspirational, and real.

You’ll help film and edit content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with a focus on luxury wellness, boutique fitness, hospitality, strength, recovery, and the sensory details that make Fort feel special.

Some content will show the process of building Fort, especially where product craft, materials, engineering, testing, and technical excellence matter. But the broader goal is to make people feel the world Fort belongs in.

What You’ll Do

• Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Capture beautiful, natural moments across gyms, wellness spaces, events, product testing, founder days, customer conversations, and community gatherings.
• Turn raw footage into short videos that feel elegant, warm, and native to social.
• Help create hooks, captions, subtitles, thumbnails, and simple edits.
• Repurpose content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and founder channels.
• Capture moments that show product craft: materials, prototypes, sensor testing, design decisions, gym testing, and the technical work behind a premium wearable.
• Track basic performance and help identify which formats feel worth repeating.

What We’re Looking For

• You are early-career, in college, recently graduated, or building your own portfolio in social content.
• You understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, internet pacing, hooks, subtitles, and native short-form formats.
• You have good visual taste and a feel for what makes a moment beautiful, intimate, or worth watching.
• You are interested in luxury wellness, boutique fitness, hospitality, strength training, recovery, design, or premium consumer brands.
• You are comfortable filming casually and making real moments feel polished without overproducing them..
• You are organized enough to manage footage, drafts, edits, revisions, and publishing support.

Nice to Have

• Experience filming or editing wellness, gym, hospitality, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, founder, or consumer product content.

• Comfort with CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, TikTok editing tools, Canva, or similar.

• A personal TikTok, Reels, or content portfolio.

• Interest in boutique fitness, strength training, wellness culture, design, hospitality, or consumer startups.

  Location

San Francisco preferred.

Remote or hybrid may be considered for the right person, but this role is strongest if you can regularly capture in-person content.
