Combining decades of research, top talent, and new technologies, we’re designing and building commercially viable fusion power plants. And we're working with policymakers, suppliers, and many others to build the energy industry of the future.

We’re in the best position to make it happen. Since 2018, we’ve raised $4 billion of capital, making us the largest and leading fusion company in the world.

Now we’re looking for more thinkers, doers, builders, and makers to join us. People who’ll bring new perspectives, solve tough problems, and thrive as part of a team.

If that’s you and this role fits, we want to hear from you.

Join the power movement as a Corporate Finance Analyst

Add execution capacity and bench strength within Corporate Finance. Under the Corporate Finance Manager’s direction, the Corporate Finance Analyst will own assigned analyses, trackers, reconciliations, documentation, and recurring deliverables across treasury, banking, financing, equity, investor support and compliance, and tax. The role is designed to reduce key-person risk, build disciplined and transferable processes, and develop a broad Corporate Finance foundation that can support future progression into a Treasury Manager or Tax Manager role as the organization grows. The Corporate Finance Manager remains accountable for strategy, priorities, stakeholder relationships, judgment, approvals, and overall quality. The Corporate Finance Analyst is accountable for accurate, timely execution and end-to-end follow-through on assigned workstreams, including coordinating inputs and escalating risks with a recommendation.

What you'll do:

  • Treasury and financing: Prepare cash, liquidity, investment, and banking analyses; maintain debt, letter-of-credit, financing, and counterparty trackers

  • Banking operations: Support account administration, KYC, documentation, payment-control evidence, and bank or counterparty follow-up

  • Equity administration: Support Carta and cap-table data, reconciliations, documentation, and employee or investor requests

  • Investor support and compliance: Prepare diligence packages, recurring compliance deliverables, obligation calendars, and supporting records with Accounting, Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and advisors

  • Tax workstreams: Support the year-end provision, R&D credit, energy tax credits, tax calendars and data requests, and ARC/global-tax planning analyses

  • Process and controls: Document procedures, maintain control evidence, reconcile data, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements and backup coverage

  • Own assigned outcomes: Plan the work, coordinate inputs, meet deadlines, and close the loop rather than waiting for repeated follow-up

  • Communicate proactively: Provide concise status, risk, recommendation, owner, timing, and specific ask

  • Collaborate across functions: Build productive working relationships without relying on authority; handle sensitive information with sound judgment

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Active CPA required
  • 5+ years experience in treasury, accounting, tax, corporate finance, banking operations, audit, or another controlled environment
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; disciplined attention to detail; clear communication; ability to translate data into conclusions, coordinate inputs, manage deadlines, and handle sensitive information with sound judgment. Preferred: Broad curiosity and interest in developing deeper expertise in treasury or tax

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with ERP, Carta, treasury or banking platform, or high-growth company experience
  •

    Must-have Requirements:

  • Perform extended activities such as typing, standing, sitting, walking, etc.
  • Occasional nights/weekends/on-call may be required during payroll processing, month-end close, audit, compliance deadlines, system issues, or urgent operational escalations.
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
  • #LI-Hybrid

At CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments, driven by our values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique. As we grow, we’re eager to bring on mission-driven folks who offer diverse perspectives and fresh ways to tackle challenges.

We consider all qualified applicants equally, regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law.
