Expected full-time salary range between $80,000 -- $93,000 variable compensation + 401(k) match + benefits.

Summary

Join our team as an Associate Technology Auditor, where you will play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing the Technology and Information Security controls within our financial services environment. This position offers the opportunity to dive deep across technology and information security domains, validating our systems meet central bank attestation requirements and adhere to industry best practices. Ideal candidates will have experience in financial services, banking, or financial market infrastructure, or come with a fresh perspective from a technology degree.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our technology and security controls, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with stakeholders to implement robust solutions. You will be responsible for not only operational assessments but also for aligning strategic and governance initiatives with our organizational goals including Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Continuous Auditing. Your insights will support risk management objectives and contribute to the overall safety and security of our firm.

Audit Execution: (90%)

Support the independent validation of Central Bank and payment-system control assessments and attestations, i.e. FedLine, CHAPS, ECB TARGET, SNB.
Review and map applicable requirements against CLS policies, procedures, standards, and internal controls.
Support planning, status tracking and reporting activities, including maintaining evidence request lists and monitoring work completion.
Execute walkthroughs, testing and other audit procedures under supervision, escalating exceptions or unclear evidence promptly.
Execute control tests in accordance with approved test plans, Internal Audit methodology, and defined regulatory requirements.
Prepare accurate and complete audit workpapers that clearly describe the procedures performed, evidence reviewed, results and conclusion.
Assist in evaluating identified exceptions, compensating controls, and impact of potential issues.
Assist with follow-up and validation of management actions arising from audit, regulatory or attestation-related findings.
Contribute to broader Technology audit assignments, including testing of general technology, resilience, and security-related controls.

Stakeholder Management / Strategic: (5%)

Develop and maintain working relationships with peers across the organization.
Communicate questions and preliminary observations in a timely and constructive manner.
Promptly escalate concerns and delays to the line manager.

Professional Development (5%)

Proactively maintain knowledge, skills and disciplines, with on-going professional development.
Maintain the professional standard of the Internal Audit function and work within its agreed Terms of Reference and IIA standards/guidelines, Charter and Mandate.

What we are looking for:

Prior audit, risk, compliance, technology, payments or financial-services experience.
Familiarity with technology, security, and resilience controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Professional qualifications / certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or expected completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related field.
2+ years of relevant industry or auditing experience.
Previous experience with Central Bank and/or payment-system control assessments and attestations is desirable.
