Your expertise will directly contribute to project success, customer satisfaction, and the advancement of ASML's leading-edge lithography technology.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Upgrade Install and Relocation Generalist, you will serve as a technical expert supporting the preparation and execution of complex EUV upgrade, installation, and relocation projects. You will leverage your system knowledge, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration to identify risks, resolve technical issues, and drive successful project execution.

You will:

  • Analyze technical risks and issues identified during the planning and execution of EUV installations, upgrades, de-installations, and relocation projects, providing recommendations on cycle time, resource requirements, and project readiness.
  • Monitor project execution and proactively identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and performance impacts, implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex system and project-related issues, coordinating support across engineering, field service, global support centers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to enable rapid containment, resolution, and recovery of technical challenges while minimizing impact to project schedules and customer operations.
  • Manage and drive technical escalation processes, ensuring appropriate support levels are engaged, escalation protocols are followed, and critical issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Review project plans, execution scenarios, and operational readiness requirements to identify gaps, missing resources, and potential constraints before deployment.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), project teams, and Fab Operations activities through both remote and on-site technical expertise, ensuring successful implementation of new upgrades and installation solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and workforce development initiatives by identifying skill gaps, sharing technical knowledge, supporting training efforts, and enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mathematics, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum three years of experience supporting SRC/DL activities on EUV systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting EUV system installations, upgrades, relocations, or field operations in customer environments.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex electromechanical, system-level, or process-related issues.
  • Experience managing technical escalations and coordinating support across cross-functional engineering organizations.
  • Familiarity with project execution, operational readiness, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience analyzing technical data and utilizing reporting tools to support issue resolution and decision-making.
