Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical comAponents, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

Role and responsibilities

As a Team Lead Manufacturing, you will:

• lead, coach, and develop a team of manufacturing employees with disciplinary and functional responsibility.

• plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities and personnel deployment within the team.

• act as the first point of contact for employees regarding manufacturing-related issues and operational challenges.

• ensure compliance with work instructions, quality requirements, and production standards.

• drive workforce development by implementing onboarding plans, training initiatives, and cross-qualification activities.

• collaborate closely with engineering, process engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support stable production operations.

• contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and actively support optimization of manufacturing processes and workplace organization.

Education and experience

• Completed vocational training in chemistry, chemical engineering technology, laboratory technology, manufacturing technology, precision mechanics, optics, or a comparable technical field

• Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a chemical or technically demanding production setting

• Proven experience leading and developing employees in a production environment

• Demonstrated experience conducting employee discussions, managing performance, and supporting conflict resolution

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and shopfloor operations

• Experience working with Microsoft Office and SAP

• Professional communication skills in German and English

An unserem Standort in Berlin fertigen unsere Mitarbeitenden Schlüsselkomponenten für die ASML Lithografiesysteme. Als Teil unserer Präzisionsfertigung unterstützt du bei der Produktion optischer Komponenten, Baugruppen sowie Systeme aus Glas, Glaskeramik und Keramik für unsere High-Tech-Kleinserien, Einzelteil- und Prototypenfertigung.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Team Leiter Fertigung wirst du:

• ein Team von Mitarbeitenden in der Fertigung fachlich und disziplinarisch führen, begleiten und weiterentwickeln.

• die täglichen Fertigungsabläufe sowie den Personaleinsatz innerhalb des Teams planen, koordinieren und überwachen.

• als erste Ansprechperson für Mitarbeitende bei fertigungsbezogenen Fragestellungen und operativen Herausforderungen agieren.

• die Einhaltung von Arbeitsanweisungen, Qualitätsanforderungen und Produktionsstandards sicherstellen.

• die Weiterentwicklung der Mitarbeitenden durch Einarbeitungspläne, Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen und Querqualifikationen fördern.

• eng mit Entwicklung, Prozesstechnik, Qualität und Fertigung zusammenarbeiten, um stabile Produktionsabläufe sicherzustellen.

• kontinuierliche Verbesserungsmaßnahmen vorantreiben und die Optimierung von Fertigungsprozessen sowie der Arbeitsplatzorganisation aktiv unterstützen.

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Bereich Chemie, Chemietechnik, Labortechnik, Fertigungstechnik, Feinmechanik, Optik oder in einem vergleichbaren technischen Fachgebiet

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einem Produktionsumfeld, vorzugsweise in einer chemieaffinen oder technisch anspruchsvollen Fertigung

• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Führung und Entwicklung von Mitarbeitenden im Produktionsumfeld

• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Mitarbeitergesprächen, Leistungsmanagement und der professionellen Begleitung von Konfliktsituationen

• Kenntnisse von Fertigungsprozessen, Qualitätsanforderungen und Shopfloor-Abläufen

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Microsoft Office und SAP

• Sichere Kommunikationsfähigkeit in deutscher und englischer Sprache
