Introduction to the job

ASML is seeking an experienced technical project manager to play a key role in bringing critical modules from development into high‑volume manufacturing. In this position, you will drive sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing readiness in line with the EUV Source product roadmap.

The role is part of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) within Supplier Collaboration & Quality (SC&Q) and represents the sourcing perspective in a cross‑functional Module Delivery Unit. SC&Q within ASML is responsible for ensuring that new parts and products are successfully introduced into the supply chain and scaled for reliable, cost‑effective production.

Working closely with colleagues from Development & Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and our global supply chain partners, you will help translate product innovations into manufacturable solutions. This includes managing supply chain requirements, coordinating product introductions and phase‑outs, handling complex parts and engineering changes, and ensuring material and infrastructure readiness throughout the product lifecycle.

To be successful, you combine strong commercial insight with hands‑on experience in supplier management and have a proven track record of leading suppliers from New Product Introduction (NPI) into stable high‑volume manufacturing.

Role and responsibilities

As an MDU SS&P Delivery Leader you lead the sourcing and industrialization of modules from supplier selection through New Product Introduction (NPI) and into stable High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). You ensure suppliers are successfully contracted, industrialized, and ramped in line with ASML’s QLTCS targets (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, and Sustainability).

You manage supply chain risks and requirements at Module Delivery Unit (MDU) level across the full product lifecycle, from feasibility and design through ramp‑up, release for volume, and phase‑down.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Represent Strategic Sourcing & Procurement within a cross‑functional MDU leadership team, acting as the single point of contact for sourcing‑related topics.
• Drive timely supplier selection and contracting in alignment with business and product roadmap needs.
• Lead NPI activities with selected suppliers through industrialization and HVM ramp‑up.
• Apply Early Supplier Involvement and Concurrent Engineering principles to enable scalable, affordable and robust designs.
• Challenge technology and design choices from a manufacturability and cost perspective.
• Ensure design and material readiness for production, driving timely completion and release of product and supplier documentation so that components can be ordered and ramp‑up can proceed without delays.
• Lead the breakdown of cost targets into prioritized work packages, ensures early cross‑functional and supplier alignment, and safeguards CoG, supply‑chain cycle time, and repair‑/re‑use feasibility throughout design and lifecycle decisions.
• Plan and mobilize SS&P project resources, including Project Coordinators, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE), and Configuration Leads.
• Manage supply chain deliverables through key decision gates of ASML’s Product Generation Process.
• Manage commercial aspects with suppliers, including Cost of Goods, NRE, OPEX, CAPEX and lead time, in close collaboration with the Account Lead(s).
• Define, track, and review QLTCS roadmaps together with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve supplier constraints and bottlenecks across multi‑tier supply chains.
• Provide transparent reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation actions to senior stakeholders.

Education and experience

• Degree in engineering or related field, Master’s highly preferred.
• 10+  years of relevant work experience, including extensive experience in supply chain, NPI, and program management preferably in high‑tech, low‑volume environments.
• Strong background in industrialization, supply chain, or sourcing.
• Proven risk management experience.
• Senior stakeholder management experience.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
