Job mission
This job mission is to work with cross sectors to ensure material quality meet our designed targets. The Quality PL develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test materials (parts/tools). Ensures activities and items are in compliance with company quality assurance standards, applicable industry standards, customer requirements and government regulations. Performs quality analysis, identifies potential negative trends and recommends containment as well as corrective actions as necessary to address the identified issues. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as 6Sigma and ISO regulations..
Job Description
In this position you will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Support and execute quality processes at local service team, and feedback & drive the improvement in case observed in daily operations.
- Collaborate with central and local team for Root Cause Analysis activities to ensure robust corrective and preventative action implementation.
- Perform statistical data analysis and make data driving findings, proposal and decision.
- Lead on certain activities across DOA, MNQ, TMM, PMR in China region.
Education and Experience
- Requires a Bachelor degree in either Science or Engineering – i.e. Industrial, Electrical, Quality, Process, Production, Mechanics etc. Master degree in Engineering is a plus.
- Proficient use of MS office/Power BI, SAP, SMS/MHO.
- Experience/Strong Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS, Six Sigma, SPC, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Experience/Strong knowledge of strong problem-solving skills/tools and techniques such as 8D/A3 methodology, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma Methodology.
- Experience leading continuous improvement activities.
Personal Skills
- Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats, with good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and apply new information or skill.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality concepts.
- Understanding of process flow diagraming and documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
- Must be able to multi-task, and set priorities without jeopardizing project schedule.
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player.
