Manufacturing- HVM Group Leader - Linkou

Job Purpose

ASML is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Group Leader to lead a critical manufacturing organization within our Linkou Factory. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development while building a high-performing manufacturing organization capable of supporting ASML's rapid business growth.

The Manufacturing Group Leader will oversee multiple production teams through frontline leaders, establish a strong performance culture, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, manufacturing capability, and customer satisfaction.

This position requires a strong balance of people leadership, operational excellence, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration within a highly complex and fast-growing technology manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations Leadership

  • Lead manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) objectives.
  • Ensure production plans are executed effectively to meet customer demand and business commitments.
  • Drive manufacturing performance through KPI management, visual management, and daily operational reviews.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Lead escalation management for critical manufacturing, material, quality, and capacity issues.

People Leadership & Organization Development

  • Lead and develop a team of Team Leaders, supervisors, and manufacturing professionals.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability building.
  • Foster employee engagement and create an inclusive work environment.
  • Coach and mentor future manufacturing leaders.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead productivity, cycle time, quality improvement, and capacity enhancement programs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, resource utilization, and operational effectiveness.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and problem-solving methodologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with end to end operational team, including P&L, Engineering, Lean, Quality, Business Engineering, EHS, SS&P, D&E, and P&D.
  • Align manufacturing strategies with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to address operational challenges and improve factory performance.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across local and global organizations.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Operations Management

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production management, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience managing leaders, supervisors, or large operational teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering operational results in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder management and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in capital equipment, electronics, precision engineering, or advanced technology manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Operational Excellence, or Toyota Production System methodologies.
  • Experience supporting factory expansion, transformation, or ramp-up programs.
  • Exposure to global matrix organizations.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's degree) is a plus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
