Introduction to the job

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon. 

Works as part of a team of infrastructure specialists, focusing on the design and implementation of technical solutions of infrastructure products in support of customer needs (in- and outside of IT).
Executes standard technical tasks within a range of well-defined procedures and practices and with supervision on progress and results. Works mainly for service providers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure & Network Roadmap & Modernization - Participate in the development of blueprints for related systems.
  • Business Requirements Identification & Contextual Analysis- Connects with business stakeholders to ask questions about the requirements. Supports and contributes to the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describes the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
  • Architectural Co-design & Conceptualization - Maintains an agreed set of architectural artifacts. Supports the production of concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Infrastructure and Network Development - Complete straightforward, well-defined, development tasks, data management, reporting, systems monitoring, systems testing, and disaster recovery to support the day-to-day infrastructure and networks.
  • Testing - Supports monitoring, diagnosis, and correction of performance issues.
  • Infrastructure & Network Operations - Supports, monitors and identifies straightforward defects to maintain fully functioning infrastructure services. Provides initial fault isolation and proposes resolution for approval by more senior colleagues to limit and address issues promptly. Completes a range of operational tasks per runbook.
  • Risk & Compliance - Has a security mindset and ensures that performed activities do not introduce unacceptable security risks (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


  • High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Microsoft/A+ or Networking+ Certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in network communications, MS Office, O365 and Windows.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support/helpdesk, high profile customer service environment.
  • Experience in the use and support of imaging, remote access and knowledge of phone system support is required.
  • Strong experience in the use of IT related software and hardware, printers, and using Helpdesk software.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with computers and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with computer build out and setup; imaging, application installs and configuration.
  • Must possess a strong customer-centered philosophy.
  • A solid understanding of PC compatible hardware.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in diagnosing problems with computer hardware and software with the ability to apply solutions to the problems.

Other information 


  • This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA .  It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.

The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently:

$31-42

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
