Introduction to the job

As Head of ASML Business Services Germany, you will define and lead a newly established organization with significant strategic and operational impact across Germany. You will shape and implement a future-ready service model, align local execution with global priorities, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

This role combines strategic leadership, organizational transformation, and operational excellence in a highly dynamic and international environment.

Role and responsibilities

• Lead a large and complex organization consisting of team leads and individual contributors (multi-layer structure; approx. 45–50 employees), ensuring strong leadership, clarity, and accountability across all levels.
• Define and execute the ABS strategy, including a multi-year roadmap (2–3 years), aligned with ASML’s global objectives.
• Drive cross-sector and cross-regional improvements on strategic topics, ensuring scalable, standardized, and high-impact solutions across Germany and global interfaces.
• Lead and drive transformative change across people, processes, and systems, establishing a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and operational excellence.
• Build and develop a high-performing, process-driven service organization, integrating functions such as HR, Finance, and other support domains.
• Act as a senior advisor and stakeholder manager, navigating complex interfaces across sectors, regions, and senior leadership levels.
• Ensure operational excellence, including KPI-driven performance, budget ownership, and reliable service delivery.

Education and Experience

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field.
• Proven senior leadership experience in Operations, Shared Services, or process-driven environments within a global organization.
• Strong track record in leading large organizations with multiple management layers
• Experience in HR and Finance is essential to be successful in this role
• Demonstrated experience in organizational transformation, change leadership, and process optimization.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives across functions and regions, with a strong focus on execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities combined with hands-on execution mindset.
• Experience with SAP and KPI-based performance management is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English, with outstanding communication skills.

Deine Aufgaben

• Leitung einer großen und komplexen Organisation mit mehreren Führungsebenen (Teamleiter:innen und Mitarbeitende; ca. 45–50 Mitarbeitende), mit Fokus auf klare Führung, Transparenz und Verantwortlichkeit auf allen Ebenen.
• Definition und Umsetzung der ABS-Strategie, einschließlich einer mehrjährigen Roadmap (2–3 Jahre), abgestimmt auf die globalen Ziele von ASML.
• Vorantreiben bereichs- und regionsübergreifender strategischer Verbesserungen, mit dem Ziel skalierbare, standardisierte und wirkungsstarke Lösungen in Deutschland sowie an globalen Schnittstellen zu etablieren.
• Führung und Umsetzung von Transformationsprozessen, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Mitarbeitende, Prozesse und Systeme, sowie Förderung einer Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung, Agilität und operativen Exzellenz.
• Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung einer leistungsstarken, prozessorientierten Serviceorganisation, unter Integration von Funktionen wie HR, Finance und weiteren unterstützenden Bereichen.
• Agieren als Senior Advisor und zentraler Stakeholder-Manager, mit sicherer Navigation komplexer Schnittstellen zwischen Bereichen, Regionen und auf Top-Management-Ebene.
• Sicherstellung operativer Exzellenz, inklusive KPI-basierter Steuerung, Budgetverantwortung sowie zuverlässiger und qualitativ hochwertiger Servicebereitstellung.

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Volkswirtschaftslehre oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs.
• Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung auf Senior-Level in den Bereichen Operations, Shared Services oder in stark prozessorientierten Organisationen innerhalb eines globalen Umfelds.
• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Leitung großer, mehrstufiger Organisationen, mit ausgewogener Kombination aus strategischer Ausrichtung und operativer Umsetzung.
• Fundierte Erfahrung in zentralen unternehmensnahen Supportfunktionen (z. B. HR und Finance), die eine erfolgreiche Integration und Servicebereitstellung ermöglichen.
• Nachgewiesene Erfolge in Organisationsentwicklung, Change Management und kontinuierlicher Prozessoptimierung über Mitarbeitende, Prozesse und Systeme hinweg.
• Fähigkeit, strategische Initiativen bereichs- und regionsübergreifend zu steuern, mit starkem Fokus auf Umsetzung.
• Ausgeprägte Stakeholder-Management- und Einflusskompetenzen, auch auf Executive-Level.
• Starke analytische und strategische Fähigkeiten, kombiniert mit einer pragmatischen, umsetzungsorientierten Arbeitsweise.
• Erfahrung mit SAP sowie KPI-gesteuerter Performance-Steuerung ist von Vorteil.
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
