Global Communications Specialist

Now is the time to jump onboard to People Operations! Within our fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment we are looking for a Global Communications Specialist to further professionalize and personalize our services in line with business and customer demand within the People Operations department of ASML Business Services (ABS) sector. In this role, you will be part of the Global Operational Excellence team, coordinating communications across the globe.

People Operations is the first point of contact for employees and managers for all HR services, policies, systems and transactions supporting the full employment life cycle. As a Global Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for communications strategy and operations for People Operations globally.

Job Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies, governance, communication plans and communications calendar to support organizational initiatives and objectives.

• Collaborate with teams and senior leadership to assess communications objectives, channels, messages, identify stakeholders, and tailor communication approaches accordingly.

• Shape storylines and be a strategic advisor as well as a hands-on communications professional.

• Design and deliver engaging communication materials such as presentations, newsletters, emails, and intranet content to keep employees informed and engaged.

• Coordinate and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and PO all employee meetings to promote understanding and adoption of new processes, technologies, or organizational structures.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on People Operations objectives and projects.

• Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of communication strategies and adoption through feedback mechanisms and metrics you develop and own

• Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in effectively communicating to their teams and stakeholders

• Anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop communication strategies to mitigate risks.

• Own engagement initiatives, execute on PO engagement activities

Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience in internal / organizational communication including content creation, writing, editing and advisory to senior leadership. Ability to drive and monitor impact and adoption in the organization.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

• Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms such as Microsoft M365 Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Viva Engage, Power Automate (process automation) or MAPP (mass mailing tool).

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making and evaluate outcomes.

• Experience with continuous improvement is a plus.

• External communications experience, experience with organizational change management and experience with deploying artificial intelligence is a plus.

• Native / fluency in English and certification in communications (& change management) is a plus.

In this job you will report to the Strategy Execution, Communications and Knowledge management lead within the Global Operational Excellence team of the People Operations organization. Your main stakeholders will be the global and regional Operational Excellence experts, the Global People Operations Leadership team, your People Operations colleagues, HR Expertise as well as HR Line and cross sector colleagues in similar roles. You will participate in regional and global meetings, projects and continuous improvements. The office location is Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
