DTS PLM - Domain Owner System Engineering / System Integration

Systems Engineering is increasingly becoming the backbone of modern product development. As ASML continues to grow in product complexity, the ability to connect requirements, system architectures, design artifacts, verification results, and integration activities through a coherent digital thread becomes increasingly important.

As Domain Owner Systems Engineering & Systems Integration, you will lead the domain responsible for enabling these capabilities. You will own the business capabilities, products, services, roadmap, and operational performance that support ASML's systems engineering landscape.

Role and responsibilities

Domain Ownership

• Own the Systems Engineering & Systems Integration domain roadmap and delivery portfolio.
• Translate strategic objectives into domain priorities and execution plans.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems engineering capabilities and supporting technologies.

Digital Thread Enablement

• Support realization of the engineering digital thread from requirements through architecture, system definition, verification, and integration.
• Contribute to the adoption of model-based and data-driven engineering practices.
• Ensure engineering capabilities remain aligned with business and technology strategy.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary IT counterpart for systems engineering stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with engineering communities across Development & Engineering.
• Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technology roadmaps.

Portfolio and Delivery Leadership

• Manage the run and change portfolio for the domain.
• Maintain visibility of delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and value realization.
• Drive predictable execution while ensuring sustainable platform evolution.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 7 ASML professionals and around 50 external specialists.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Coach team members and support their professional development.

Education and experience

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Engineering IT, Product Development, Systems Engineering, or enterprise technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects, products, programs, or technology teams.
• Experience working with engineering stakeholders in complex environments.
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering methodologies and practices.
• Experience with platforms such as Polarion, Teamcenter, Capella, or comparable engineering tool environments is considered a strong advantage.

Other information

This role is part of the PLM & Mechanical Engineering Solutions value stream within ASML's Digital Technology & Security organization. It is considered an excellent development opportunity for future senior domain leaders within DTS.

The position offers exposure to strategic digital engineering initiatives and direct collaboration with leading engineering organizations across ASML.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
