D&E Field - EUV Top Module - Hsinchu

Introduction

Within ASML, the Wilton DE Satellite team represents the development projects responsible for Wilton DE product ownership in Asia.

This position will be located in ASML Hsinchu office and reports to WT DE OS&I LF Satellite Team GL in TW and assigned to NXE EUV Top Module Escalation(TME) project based in Wilton to support all NXE EUV Top Module Escalation.

Job Mission

You will be the Wilton DE representative in TW for supporting the NXE EUV Top Module Escalation project. This role is to act as frontline DE in field, covering the local time zone escalation in time and feedback Wilton DE the issue progress and improvement. Home base will be in ASML Hsinchu office, Taiwan.

The mission of WLT NXE EUV TME DE is to enable our field service engineers’ solving power on NXE EUV Top Module to be capable in supporting our customers. As an NXE EUV Top Module expert, you will function as the technical interface between Global Support Center and WLT DE teams to solve issue in time and feedback structural improvement. As an Mechatronics Design Engineer, you need to fully understand the EUV Top Module design and functionality, develop DE level diagnostics skill, and further proposed effective containment and solution.

Job Description

• Able to clarify the issue for accurate problem description, root cause deep-dive and drive for solution from technical perspective and have helicopter view of LNA EUV top module issues.
• Knowledge/experience of robotics and stage controls is desirable.
• Review/study EUV top module design change document to have up to date design info and provide comments to Wilton DE.
• Able to provide quick containment with data driven analysis for NXE EUV top module issues in field.
• Manage the lifecycle(E2E) of an action plan that needs to be executed at the customer site.
• Communicate the issue status updates on a daily basis with WLT DE TME team
• Manage customer’s expectation and able to bring the customer needs to the D&E project to close gap.
• Interact with EUV DE colleagues in Wilton for driving the containment and solution.

Education

Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering preferred (motion/servo control background).

Experience

• At least 3-5 years Industry experience within motion/stage/robot control domain.
• Candidate should have direct experience in the design and test of mechatronic systems/equipment.
• Familiar with MATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox.
• Ability to apply “classical control theory” and “digital control theory” including frequency domain, stability (Nyquist/Bode plots), Velocity-Acceleration-Jerk (VAJ), feedback/feedforward, dynamics, gain and phase, transfer functions, continuous/discrete feedback control, real time controls, etc.

• Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Result driven-demonstrate ownership, identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.
• Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication.
• Strong data analytical skills.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills in English, including presenting results based on strong statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities.

Other information

• Located in ASML Hsinchu office but report to GL of WLT DE Satellite Team in LK office.
• Need to take On Job Training(OJT) in WLT/US for 3-6 months in the 1st year.
• Flexibility for traveling to different ASML offices or customer site for urgent escalation support.
• Daily work alignment calls with WLT DE colleagues except Friday.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
