Job Description
Introduction
In this internship, you will address a key challenge in improving developer productivity. Today, logs and system events are spread across multiple services. You will help create a unified view that simplifies debugging and improves daily workflows. Your work will enhance developer experience and operational efficiency by building a centralized observability and debugging layer.
Your assignment
In this assignment, you will design and and implement a system that:
- Provides a unified view of logs and events across provisioning, authentication, and networking layers.
- Enables correlation of events using identifiers such as Ringfence ID or Cluster ID.
- Surfaces actionable insights and failure summaries instead of raw logs.
- Simplifies troubleshooting for both developers and platform engineers.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design a unified architecture to collect and process logs and events.
- Build a centralized layer to aggregate data across multiple systems.
- Implement event correlation using unique identifiers such as system or cluster IDs.
- Develop clear summaries that highlight failures and root causes.
- Create visual dashboards or interfaces for easy troubleshooting.
- Validate the solution with real use cases and performance tests.
- Document your design and share improvements with the team.
This is a bachelor or master internship for minimum 5-6 months, minimum 2-3 days per week (2-3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of September 2026.
