Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Compensation
$55.00–$65.00/hour

Job Description

Remote Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Pillars Behavioral Health | Texas, Colorado, Tennessee & North Carolina

Pillars Behavioral Health is growing, and we’re looking for compassionate, driven BCBAs who want to do meaningful work without the unnecessary stress that can come with the job.
We are a Christian-owned ABA company, but you do not have to be Christian to work with us, and our families come from all backgrounds and beliefs. Our faith influences how we operate as a company—we value love, joy, kindness, compassion, accountability, and treating people with dignity. We pray over our staff and families, but we do not require employees or families to share our beliefs.

Our goal is simple: take as much of the administrative stress off our BCBAs as possible so you can focus on being a BCBA.

What You’ll Do
As a BCBA with Pillars, you’ll have the clinical freedom to do what you do best while having a team and resources behind you.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising your assigned learners for approximately 10% of their authorized hours

  • Providing family guidance, with a goal of approximately 2 hours per month

  • Conducting RBT evaluations throughout the year

  • Supervising and supporting RBTs

  • Developing and modifying treatment programs

  • Writing initial assessments and progress reports

  • Monitoring learner progress and making clinically appropriate recommendations

  • Collaborating with families, RBTs, and other members of the care team

  • Maintaining high standards of ethical and compassionate care

We Take the Stress Out of the Paperwork

We know that being a BCBA is about much more than writing reports and managing paperwork. That’s why we provide a large library of resources, templates, tools, and support to make assessments, progress reports, programming, and other documentation as straightforward as possible.
We want you to spend less time wondering, “How am I supposed to write this?” and more time actually supporting your learners.
Credentialing & Caseload Timeline

  • Your caseload will depend largely on how quickly you are able to complete the credentialing process. Credentialing typically takes anywhere from 1–3 months, depending on the payer.

  • Because of this, you should not expect to have a full caseload immediately. While credentialing is in progress, you can take the time to get familiar with Pillars, complete onboarding, and prepare for your upcoming caseload. As soon as you are credentialed with a payer and we have appropriate learners available, we can begin adding them to your caseload.

Complete Flexibility
Your schedule is completely flexible.
You have the ability to build a schedule that works for you and your families. We simply ask that you communicate with us when your availability changes so we know what’s going on and can properly support your caseload.
As long as you are meeting your required supervision and family guidance responsibilities, we’re flexible about how you structure your time.
Specialty Support Tracks
At Pillars, we recognize that no BCBA is an expert in everything—and you shouldn’t have to be.
Our Specialty Support Track allows learners to receive expert-level support in specific areas while giving our BCBAs the opportunity to learn from other clinicians with specialized experience.
This means you can reach out to another BCBA on our team when you have a learner who needs support in an area outside your expertise. Instead of feeling like you have to figure everything out alone, you have a team of specialists to learn from and collaborate with.

Who We Serve
We currently provide services in:
Texas
We serve learners from 18 months through 21 years old and also have a dedicated program supporting Spanish-speaking families.
Texas licensure is required. Licensure in additional states is a plus as we continue expanding.
Compensation, Hours & Location
This position is fully remote, although you always have the option to provide in person services. Currently, we are offering an hourly rate of $55-$65 an hour based off of experience (this will be a baseline as we intend to increase compensation based not only on performance, but also as the company grows). We currently have part-time and full-time W-2 positions open.
Benefits & Perks
We’re continuing to build our benefits package as we grow, but currently offer:
• 100% company-sponsored health plan
This is not traditional health insurance, but it provides access to unlimited doctor visits, dermatology, mental health, nutrition, and other services for employees and eligible family members.
• CEU support/coverage
• Competitive hourly compensation
• Opportunities for compensation increases as the company grows and based on performance
• Internal opportunities for professional growth and advancement
• A supportive clinical team and opportunities to learn from other BCBAs

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for BCBAs who are:

  • Compassionate

  • Caring

  • Open-minded

  • Joyful

  • Accountable

  • Good communicators

  • Comfortable collaborating with a team

  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of learners and their families

Most importantly, we want people who genuinely care about the families they serve and want to be part of a company where people matter.

Interested?
We’d love to hear from you!
