Role

Adaptive Security is building the next-generation security platform for the AI age. Attackers can now use AI to generate deepfakes and orchestrate highly personalized attacks at massive scale against anyone in an organization. We help companies prepare for that reality by simulating modern attacks, educating employees, detecting malicious emails, preventing risky behavior, and giving security teams the visibility they need to keep their organizations safe.

We are early, moving quickly, and already emerging as a leader in one of the fastest-growing areas of security. We've raised over $146M — most recently our $81M Series B led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from NVIDIA's NVentures, Capital One Ventures, Citi Ventures, and continued support from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the OpenAI Startup Fund, and Abstract Ventures. Adaptive was founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, repeat entrepreneurs who previously co-founded Attentive ($500M+ in annual revenue, $10B+ valuation) and TapCommerce (acquired by Twitter).

We're looking for a Product Manager who is eager to ship exceptional products quickly. As we scale to 2,000+ customers and millions of employees on our platform, there is no shortage of meaningful problems to solve.

You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one or more of our core products, working closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success. You'll use AI tools daily to move faster: drafting specs, pressure-testing ideas, synthesizing research, and prototyping solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for your product area. Prioritize ruthlessly based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility. Then defend your bets to leadership and GTM.

• Be the voice of the customer. Run discovery calls, mine support tickets, and synthesize what you hear into clear problem statements.

• Ship. Build prototypes, partner with eng and design to make tradeoffs, and drive execution through launch. You're accountable for outcomes, not just output.

• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and CS to shape positioning, enable the GTM team, and close the loop on customer feedback.

• Instrument and monitor product metrics. Use data to validate hypotheses, catch problems early, and inform what to build next.

• Stay sharp on cybersecurity and AI trends. Know what competitors are shipping and where the market is moving to ensure we're always one step ahead.

  
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup.

• Strong sense of initiative, thoughtful synthesis of feedback, and swift adaptability when faced with ambiguity.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the humility to learn from mistakes and collaborate with a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional products.

• Expertise with AI tools. You actively use LLMs, AI coding agents, and similar tools in your daily work, and find new, novel ways to take advantage of these tools to move faster.

• Builder's instinct. You default to building and prototyping. You don't wait for an engineer to validate every idea.

Environment

This role is located in New York City, and requires the candidate to work from our office in New York City five days a week.
