Carbonfact (https://www.carbonfact.com/) helps fashion brands lower their carbon emissions with a platform that run fast and scalable life-cycle assessments on the products they sell.
Tech Stack
A few examples of the key challenges you will be working on:
- extend from our first product category (sneakers) to another one, then hundreds, by generalizing our carbon model implementation,
- generate product data for all the products we track by processing thousands, then millions of data points,
- handle the data processing as well as displaying the carbon information in demanding environments (e.g. big e-commerce retailers) by building a rock-solid infrastructure.
The technologies we started with (and you'll have a key role in changing if needed):
- Typescript and React everywhere,
- NestJS, NextJS and ReactAdmin frameworks,
- Prisma / PostgreSQL for dealing with data,
- Python for data analytics and data science,
- Vercel / Heroku / DigitalOcean to host it.
