Job Description

Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

As a Manager, Master Scheduling and Planning at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor to executing our Supply Chain and Operations strategy, establishing and running our demand S&OP cycle. You will support Supply Chain & Project Management in developing master production and supply schedules to ensure timely delivery of flight hardware to orbit. Leading a team of Material Resource Planners, you will drive continuous improvement of demand planning and scheduling processes and act as a cross-functional advocate across the business. We're looking for a seasoned scheduling professional who wants to design scalable processes, own the demand signal from requirements through production execution, and lead a team that keeps programs on track.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a team of Material Resource Planners, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Manage team workload and prioritization across concurrent programs; build capacity and succession plans
  • Develop and maintain the demand signal across multiple programs, aligning customer demand, production capacity, and material availability
  • Own the S&OP process, facilitating cross-functional demand reviews with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
  • Translate program requirements into production plans, work order releases, and material demand signals
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and material shortages through data-driven trade-off analysis
  • Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain on long-lead and critical-path item management
  • Build and maintain scheduling metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for schedule health and on-time delivery
  • Lead scenario/what-if analysis to assess impacts of engineering changes, requirement shifts, or supply disruptions
  • Drive ERP/MRP optimization and workflow automation
  • Serve as primary escalation point for scheduling issues across Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (or relevant work experience equivalent)
  • 8+ years of relevant demand planning/master scheduling experience
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Demonstrated expertise managing demand plans/production schedules in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing
  • Deep experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), including MRP logic, work order management, and capacity planning
  • Strong proficiency in S&OP processes and cross-functional demand planning
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent program schedules
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and scheduling tools such as MS Project
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Space-technology or launch vehicle manufacturing supply chain/scheduling experience
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (or in progress)
  • Experience in high-growth manufacturing or new program standup

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary:  $125,000-$190,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
