What you need
- 4+ yrs RF, antenna, radio, telemetry, or electrical systems experience.
- RF fundamentals: propagation, impedance matching, VSWR, gain/loss, noise figure.
- Proficiency with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes.
- Hands-on troubleshooting in lab, integration, or test environments.
- Cross-functional communication of technical tradeoffs, results, risks, recommendations.
What you'll do
- Define RF system requirements, architectures, interfaces, verification approaches.
- Develop block diagrams, link budgets, interface documentation, test plans.
- Design, build, integrate, test RF hardware including antennas, radios, modules.
- Execute RF testing: conducted tests, antenna measurements, environmental testing, validation.
- Troubleshoot RF performance issues and drive corrective actions.
About The Role:
This role requires strong RF fundamentals, broad electrical systems experience, and the ability to move quickly from architecture to hardware integration and test. You will work closely with avionics, GNC, flight software, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations teams to deliver reliable communication, telemetry, navigation, and sensor/instrumentation systems.
