What you need
- Currently enrolled in STEM program (undergrad junior/senior or grad)
- GPA 3.0 or above
- Practical experience via internships, studies, or projects
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
What you'll do
- Solve structural static/dynamic problems via hand calculations, FEA, test data
- Define external loads from flight maneuvers, gust, takeoff/landing
- Generate vehicle finite element models for static/dynamic load cases
- Characterize aeroelastic effects such as flutter
- Define random vibration environments from buffet and engine dynamics

About The Role:
As a Loads and Dynamics Engineering Intern you will support the development of our supersonic aircraft programs. This individual will work closely with the aerodynamics and structures teams to develop and refine external loads, create dynamic simulations, validate analysis through testing and flight, and evaluate flutter behaviors to support aircraft development.
Summer: around 12 weeks (May - August)

The hourly rate listed for this internship is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on degree level.
