What you need
- Pursuing degree in EE, CE, CS, SE, AE or related
- Working proficiency in C++
- Strong physics/dynamics fundamentals (rigid-body, classical mechanics, reference frames, equations of motion)
- Hands-on hardware experience (schematics, pinouts, cables, bench tools)
- Linux command-line proficiency, GPA 3.0+
What you'll do
- Develop 6-DOF flight simulation (vehicle dynamics, sensor/actuator models, engine/plant models)
- Support HITL testing (integrate flight computers, avionics, sensors, actuators, cable harnesses)
- Write simulation/test software in C++, Python, MATLAB
- Troubleshoot hardware using schematics and bench tools
- Build tooling for simulation/HITL testing (logging, playback, automation)
About the Team:
You'll join a small, fast-moving team building the avionics and flight software for a new flight vehicle program from clean sheet. Everything is actively being built, integrated, and tested on real hardware supporting real tests.
This role will focus on developing simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) infrastructure, combining software development, flight simulation, and hands-on hardware integration.
Small team, big ownership, and we move at speeds the rest of the industry doesn't.
