What you need
- Pursuing bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
- Hands-on hardware building, fabrication, or testing experience
- Comfortable working on factory floor with manufacturing equipment
- Strong interest in welding, materials, structures, process improvement
- GPA 3.0 or above
What you'll do
- Support development and improvement of aircraft manufacturing processes
- Work hands-on with sheet metal, welded assemblies, tooling on factory floor
- Investigate defects and nonconformances to identify root causes
- Develop corrective actions to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Create and improve work instructions and process documentation

About The Role:
As a Build Reliability Engineering Intern at Hermeus, you will support the development, improvement, and standardization of manufacturing processes used to build our next-generation aircraft. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to identify manufacturing challenges, investigate root causes, and implement improvements across structural fabrication and assembly processes.
Spring: Around 16 weeks (January - April)
Summer: Around 12 weeks (May - August)

The hourly rate listed for this internship is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on degree level.
