ABOUT THE TEAM
The Global Defense (GD) team is responsible for establishing and expanding Anduril's international business, developing and delivering the products and technology that address the unique security challenges faced by America's Allies and partners. The team operates across every major theater, pairing deep regional expertise with a sophisticated command of foreign military sales, trade, and compliance frameworks.
GD team members serve as the bridge between international customers and the broader Anduril enterprise; they translate partner-nation requirements and perspectives back to Anduril's Business Lines, while serving as Anduril's ambassadors and partners abroad. They shape and capture new opportunities by leveraging Anduril's strengths in innovation, modern warfighting, agile foreign sales strategies, and rigorous export compliance. The team's work spans the full lifecycle of international engagement: global strategy and market analysis; international business development and deal navigation; partnerships and representation; trade, export control, and Tech Security & Foreign Disclosure (TSFD); and the global operations, security, and in-country presence required to execute.
The Head of Anduril Netherlands leads Anduril's business and in-country organization in the Netherlands. You will own the growth trajectory, the customer relationship with the Dutch Ministry of Defence, and the maturation of Anduril's Dutch entity into a fully operating business with local people, partners, and delivery capability.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the Netherlands business. Set and execute Anduril's strategy in the Netherlands, owning pipeline, revenue targets, and the long-term growth plan in partnership with Europe leadership.
- Lead the customer relationship. Be Anduril's senior representative to the Dutch Ministry of Defence, the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO), and the armed forces, ensuring Anduril is positioned early on priority requirements such as counter-UAS and air defense.
- Build the in-country organization. Mature Anduril's Dutch entity and office, and recruit and lead a local team across business development, operations, and delivery.
- Drive industrial partnerships and localization. Develop partnerships with Dutch industry and research institutions to support sovereign capability, local production, and industrial participation commitments.
- Orchestrate the enterprise. Work across Business Lines, Legal, Finance, Trade Compliance, Security, and Corporate Development to ensure Anduril can deliver on commitments in the Netherlands.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in defense, government, or defense industry, including P&L or business-unit leadership
- Established senior network across the Dutch Ministry of Defence, DMO, and Dutch defense industry
- Track record of building and leading teams and in-country organizations
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Ability to travel 25-40%
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with NATO and EU defense programs and funding mechanisms
- Experience standing up or scaling a subsidiary or new market entry
- Familiarity with enterprise AI and autonomous systems a plus
- STEM or advanced degree a plus
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
