Facilities Strategy, Air Dominance & Strike
Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The mission of Anduril's Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) Division is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer-to-peer conflicts are fought by developing next-generation collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and the software that powers these autonomous systems. The AD&S Operations team is a small but mighty team of business generalists who enable the division to scale through hyper-growth while breaking as few things as possible.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Air Dominance & Strike division is scaling at an unprecedented pace. As our business grows across engineering, manufacturing, labs, classified programs, and production, translating organizational growth into executable facilities strategies has become a critical capability.
This role serves as the strategic bridge between AD&S Business Operations and Corporate Facilities, ensuring facilities planning decisions accurately reflect business priorities, program growth, and organizational needs.
Rather than executing moves or managing construction projects, you'll build the operating model that enables them. You'll develop forecasting processes, planning frameworks, governance models, executive decision tools, and scalable operating rhythms that connect business intelligence with facilities strategy and long-term portfolio planning.
Here's what you'll do:
- Own the division's demand planning process by translating hiring forecasts, organizational changes, program milestones, and business priorities into actionable facilities strategies
- Build and maintain scalable forecasting models that provide detailed planning across a rolling 18-month horizon while informing long-term (5+ year) portfolio decisions
- Develop and maintain the AD&S Facilities Plan of Record, providing executive visibility into future building acquisitions, releases, consolidations, neighborhood strategies, and organizational transitions
- Identify emerging business needs early by synthesizing hiring plans, organizational changes, program milestones, and executive priorities into proactive facilities strategies
- Develop a deep understanding of team workflows, collaboration models, security requirements, hiring plans, and operational constraints to proactively shape facilities strategy
- Establish performance metrics that measure forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, portfolio readiness, and planning effectiveness
- Execute special projects across Business Operations, Facilities, Finance, and Corporate Real Estate as the organization continues to scale
Here's who you are:
- You love solving complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric way
- You're both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and humility
- You're exceptionally skilled at influencing without authority and building trusted relationships across organizations with competing priorities
- You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, creating structure where none exists, and building scalable processes from first principles
- You're highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven while maintaining the ability to think strategically
- You're equally comfortable discussing long-term strategy with executives and rolling up your sleeves to solve tactical operational challenges
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Facilities Strategy, Corporate Real Estate, Portfolio Planning, Workplace Strategy, or a related strategic operations role within a high-growth organization
- Demonstrated experience developing business forecasts, portfolio strategies, or long-range planning models that influence executive decision making
- Experience building cross-functional processes, governance frameworks, and operating models that scale with organizational growth
- Experience developing executive presentations, strategic recommendations, and scenario analyses for leadership audiences
- Strong project management skills with experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions is highly desirable
- Experience interpreting floor plans, organizational stack plans, or facilities data is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities evolve rapidly
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
